How To Apply
1.) The first task is to create a flat surface for the wig to sit on. You can braid your hair or mold it.
2.) Next cleanse the perimeter of your forehead with alcohol. this will create a clean oil free surface which will be better for the adhesive to adhere to.
3.） All of the wig hairs should be pinned up before attempting to trim lace. This will eliminate the hair from falling getting clipped accidentally. Be especially careful of the baby hairs. Use clips to secure the baby hairs back.
4.) Gradually start trimming the excess lace. Follow the hairline of the wig and trim around. Only cut off small amounts at a time. Refrain from making jagged cuts in the lace. Only make smooth precision ones.
5.)After lace is trimmed place the wig on your head and evaluate how and where the hairline will look most natural. Once you've found the best placement, Mark or lightly outline where it sits on your head using an eyebrow pencil.
6. After you have created and made your markings on where your wig should sit on your head. remove the wig and apply the adhesive inside your outline. Glue should be smooth and evenly distributed. Let glue set for a few minutes to semi dry. It should be tacky sticky not stringy. Use a bobby pin or the rat tail of the comb to test this. Just dab in the glue to test the tackiness.
7. After checking tackiness of glue, slowly apply the wig to the hairline, make sure its facing in the right direction and the ear tabs are correct. Start from edge at the ear and go across the forehead to the other ear. Slowly make contact around the hairline from ear to ear. Use a comb to press the wig into the lace. Do Not Press Down with fingers. This will cause the glue to goo up underneath your lace.
8. Check around the perimeter of the wig. Add glue to the excess spots that you may have missed around the edges of the wig. This can be done with the end of a bobby pin just lightly dab onto skin.
Lace should lay smoothly on the forehead, hairline should be smooth with no ripples.
*Your unit should have a natural look.
*NO GLUE SHOULD BE VISIBLE ON YOUR FOREHEAD.
*YOUR BABY HAIRS SHOULD NOT BE STUCK TO YOUR FACE WITH GLUE.
If you are looking closely in the mirror and are 6 inches away from your face and have your baby hairs lifted up, yes, you will see the lace. It's virtually invisible, not completely invisible. You know what you are looking for a stranger will not.
1.) DON'T PUSH LACE DOWN WITH YOUR FINGERS INTO THE GLUE. THE HAIR WILL STICK AND GET MATTED UP. USE THE TEETH OF OF WIDE TOOTH COMB AND PRESS IT FLAT AGAINST YOUR SCALP.
2.) When reapplying ; DON'T REAPPLY GLUE TO AN AREA WHERE THERE IS OLD GLUE, THE GLUE WILL NOT STICK TO AN OLD PREVIOUSLY GLUED SURFACE. AREA MUST BE CLEANED FIRST, THEN Glue can be reapplied.
